The Sun Online - Supergoals: Today's footie latest: "BIRMINGHAM boss Steve Bruce hopes Nicky Butt will revive his team's stuttering campaign.
The midfielder is available to return at Blackburn on Saturday after serving a four-game ban following last month's dismissal at Portsmouth.
Bruce said: "Nicky is a big influence on and off the pitch.
"It has been a hammer blow to lose him because at Portsmouth I was just detecting we were seeing the real Nicky Butt.
"He has been there and done it and the great thing about him is that he still has his humility."
